Canberra Statement is a policy guide that details the state of rights of LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers and refugees and sets out priorities for policy reforms to ensure access to safety and justice for LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers and refugees. The Canberra Statement calls on various stakeholders regardless of whether they are individuals, academics, organisations or government bodies to commit to better supporting of LGBTIQ+ asylum seekers and refugees.
