The Refugee Council of Australia is looking for volunteers to support our Refugee Alternatives conference being hosted by the University of Melbourne on 13-14 February 2018. The Conference is being hosted at the Arts West building over the two days, with associated events on and off campus.
We are looking for teams of volunteers to support the various aspects of the Conference.
Work may include event management, documenting, logistics and media/communications. In particular, we are keen to receive applications from people who have skills and experience in one or more the following areas:
- Event support
- IT management
- Social media
We are seeking people who can commit to preparation meetings in late January and during February and for at least both 13 and 14 February 2018. People from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
